Dog walking for a living is fun

by youwannagowalkies @ 03. Jun 2008 - 22:11:32

We've always had dogs, so the decision to become professional dog walkers was an easy one to make.
We love the outdoors and the company of dogs.Whether you are walking springer spaniels, Irish setters,Border collies or Huskies, they all have one thing in common. They love to socialize with other dogs and humans.
Each dog has it's own character and after a while you get to know what make each dog tick.
We only use forests to walk the dogs, completely away from any traffic.
During the walks we also interact and play with them.

It doesn't matter what time we collect the dogs, no matter what the weather is: rain, snow, wind, they always greet us with waggy tails and a lick.

We have recently taken on a new dog. It is a 6 month old Greyhound. It had been in a kennel until about 5 weeks ago with no human contact apart from the kennel staff, and had never been outside for a walk nor had it been introduced to other dogs.
Our client rescued this dog, and is giving him a caring loving home.
We are very honoured and privileged to be able to help this lovely puppy develop, and to introduce him to the outside world. He is learning to socialize with humans and with other dogs during our walks.
